A theoretical model for the calculation of spin modes frequency for a saturated thin dot of elliptical cross section under an external field was proposed. It was supposed that the static magnetization was uniform across the thickness and no anisotropy was present. The mode frequencies were calculated as eigenvalues, taking into account a quantization condition.
