Abstract
The valence-quark distribution functions are calculated in the color-dielectric model. The translational invariance is approximately guaranteed by means of the Peierls-Yoccoz projection. One-gluon exchange effects are taken into account. We find that the model describes the nucleon at a scale Q^2_0 ≳ (2Λ_QCD)^2 at which the overall momentum is shared between the valence and the glue, with a relatively large presence of the latter.File in questo prodotto:
