During the last few years, in Italy, the transformation from analog to digital in the television system is taking place and this will be completed within year 2012. This technological evolution will deliver an improvement in audio and video quality, an increase of the number of channels and above all the opportunity to make use of a ‘super teletext’, based on the standard MHP (Multimedia Home Platform), that provides interactive services to the users. In this paper four different services will be presented: two of them have already been developed and two are in a prototypical step. These have been realized by Lepida S.p.A, within the LepidaTV project: a digital channel on the Emilia-Romagna region that, through MHP applications, makes the Public Administration closer to the citizens proposing proper informative services, starting from what is already established form organizations and developed through other communication channels.
