Abstract
We present experimental and theoretical Brillouin Light Scattering investigation of collective spin wave excitations in dense chains of interacting magnetic dots, which can be seen as one dimensional magnonic crystals. The calculations have been performed within the dynamical matrix method, with a Bloch type form of the dynamic magnetization. It is found that a few modes present an appreciable dispersion versus the surface wavevector.File in questo prodotto:
