The refurbishment program regards an area of Cinisello Balsamo that is characterized by six social housing settlements built in the end of the’60. Buildings were composed by inhomogeneous typologies, with a diverse level of degrade in terms of building quality, environmental quality and social life. The main refurbishment objectives are: the identification of housing typologies related to new user’s needs, the introduction of new functions, the complying with new technical regulations in terms of accessibility for disables and energy efficiency.
