Abstract
The collimator is an important part of the IEM-XINTEGRAL experiment. In fact in addition to the function of limiting the detector field of view (FOV), to minimize the detector background level, it has also the structural function of supporting the beryllium window of the detector. Indeed it has to support the 5 atm gas pressure inside the detector box. The aim of this report is to describe the guidelines followed by the Ferrara group for the collimator projrct in order to optimize the scientific and mechanical requirementFile in questo prodotto:
