We present a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B+/--->chi(c0)K(+/-) from a sample of 89x10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory. The chi(c0) meson is reconstructed through its two-body decays to pi(+)pi(-) and K+K-. We measure B(B+/- --> chi(c0)K(+/-)) x B(chi(c0) --> pi(+)pi(-)) = [1.32(-0.27)(+0.28)(stat) +/- 0.26(syst)] x 10(-6) and B(B+/- --> chi(c0)K(+/-)) x B(chi(c0) --> K+K-) = [1.49(-0.34)(+0.36)(stat) +/- 0.22(syst)] x 10(-6). Using the known values for the chi(c0) decays branching fractions, we combine these results to obtain B(B+/--->chi(c0)K(+/-))=(2.7+/-0.7)x10(-4).
