A child affected by lymphoblastic leukaemia with necrotizing fasciitis due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa is presented. Few cases of necrotizing fasciitis due to this organism have been found in the literature. Prompt diagnosis, enabling treatment with appropriate antibiotics and early surgical intervention, was the key factor in his recovery.
