Nanostructured titania films have been prepared for the first time via thick-film technology. Achievement of both anatase and rutile phases for the films proved possible. Structural study by electron microscopy has been carried out in order to characterize the material. The grain size of the films can be controlled by either annealing or Nb doping. This element proved helpful to hinder grain-size growth even at relatively high temperature. The films possess sensing capability to CO with good sensitivity.

Abstract
Nanostructured titania films have been prepared for the first time via thick-film technology. Achievement of both anatase and rutile phases for the films proved possible. Structural study by electron microscopy has been carried out in order to characterize the material. The grain size of the films can be controlled by either annealing or Nb doping. This element proved helpful to hinder grain-size growth even at relatively high temperature. The films possess sensing capability to CO with good sensitivity.File in questo prodotto:
