We propose an agent-based architecture, where the reasoning component is a constraint solver interacting with agents that extract data and retrieve knowledge on the problem. To this purpose the traditional CSP model has been extended in order to manage incomplete data. Not only the extended solver is able to start its computation while data extraction is in progress, but also can guide data acquisition thanks to the interactive constraints. We present three application examples which can benefit from the proposed approach.

Abstract
We propose an agent-based architecture, where the reasoning component is a constraint solver interacting with agents that extract data and retrieve knowledge on the problem. To this purpose the traditional CSP model has been extended in order to manage incomplete data. Not only the extended solver is able to start its computation while data extraction is in progress, but also can guide data acquisition thanks to the interactive constraints. We present three application examples which can benefit from the proposed approach.File in questo prodotto:
