Abstract
The paper entitled "Molecular Dynamic Theory of Chromatography" was the first, and most significant, contribution to the theory of chromatography made by J. Calvin Giddings, in conjunction with Eyring. It was first developed into a second paper entitled "Stochastic Consideration on Chromatographic Dispersion". A new and original theory of chromatography came forth from these two papers: the stochastic theory of chromatography. In this theory the process of chromatography, considered from a molecular point of view as a chain sorption-desorption processes, is ruled by probabilistic laws.File in questo prodotto:
