Mössbauer investigation of sputtered FexAg100-x films

FexAg100-x samples were deposited with a DC-magnetron cosputtering apparatus. M.ossbauer measurements have been performed in the range 14<x<38 to investigate the transition from superparamagnetic to ferromagnetic-like behaviour displayed by the samples. Indeed, this transition was observed with magnetisation and not with magnetoresistive measurements. The results of the analysis indicate that a non-homogeneous magnetic structure seems to be responsible for this phenomenon.
