New SIGMA TAU compounds were tested in inhibition binding assays to detect affinity (Ki) to human A1, A2A and A3 adenosine receptors. Moreover cyclic AMP assays were performed to evaluate the capability of these compounds to modulate cAMP levels in the absence and in the presence of typical adenosine agonists in CHO cells transfected with human A1, A2A, A2B and A3 receptor subtypes, respectively.

Abstract

New SIGMA TAU compounds were tested in inhibition binding assays to detect affinity (Ki) to human A1, A2A and A3 adenosine receptors. Moreover cyclic AMP assays were performed to evaluate the capability of these compounds to modulate cAMP levels in the absence and in the presence of typical adenosine agonists in CHO cells transfected with human A1, A2A, A2B and A3 receptor subtypes, respectively.
