Abstract

In this work, two processes related to the onset and the evolution of large-scale rock falls-topples have been analysed by means of remote sensing techniques. On the one hand, the amount of rock bridges vs pre-existing fractures have been estimated in a newly formed landslide scarp. On the other hand, the fragmentation of the rock mass after failure was assessed.
