Abstract

Contaminants of emerging concerns (CECs), including pharmaceuticals, are not effectively removed by water treatments and are discharged into the environment. Therefore, they may have adverse impact on aquatic organisms and on human health. Herein, we present a photo-electrochemical method based on WO3 photoanodes.
