The purpose of this work is to assess the performances of large size LSC devices which closely represent systems that can be employed in building integrated applications like roofs or windows. Although the great potentialities of LSC photovoltaic systems, up to now only a few real word applications exist and most of the scientific work about LSCs concerns only luminescent dyes and small size devices (generally 5cm×5 cm). The subjects of this study are LSC devices made of dye doped PMMA slabs with an area of 50cm×50cm and a thickness of 5mm: five different dyes with different colors (violet, gree, yellow, orange, red) have been tested.
