Within an extensive practice for the protection of the historic centre of Ferrara, the new planning legislation integrated the guidelines for the preservation of the 20th Century architecture of the whole municipal area. Thus, the research aims to identify the proper categories of intervention for those modern architectures in order to both guide the process elaboration of the projects and ease the control stage.
