This paper presents a modern and efficient architecture for an emergency tetra network working in the Italian Emilia-Romagna region. This network is by now fully working and serving the whole region area with an obsolete architecture so we describe the migration plan we are following in order to limit the breakdown and to guarantee better services while reducing the overall maintenance costs.
