Abstract

Different approaches to the survey of the “urban scene” of historic fabrics raise issues still open where the use of last generation acquisition technologies produce databases quantitative and “uncritical” toward the conservation of the historic materials. The integrated survey methodologies, that in these fields has to be selective, critical and finalized, offer great opportunities for the documentation and analysis of the surfaces for conservative purposes. This paper presents methodologies of use of the reflectance data aimed at the knowledge and conservation of the historical urban fabric.
