Video Management services have become of high interest for the Public Administrations during the last years, since they can offer an efficient answer to the need of public security and they can represent an efficient instrument to increment the features offered by smart cities. In this paper we present a Video Management Center fully developed with open source technologies, that thanks to a multi server architecture and a centralized service model let the Public Administration exploit a powerful security tool with a significant resource saving.

Abstract
