Could energy-efficiency strategies in buildings become flexible? Trying to answer to this question, a prototype of timber prefabricated housing unit - Flexible Box - has been investigated and designed. Student housing has been chosen as case study. This building type is suitable for research purpose by reason of a high degree of flexibility requirements. Abstract
