The preliminary results are reported of the palinological analyses di 21 samples. The data show the presence of rather open and constantly frequented counrtyside surrounding the settlement. Man's activity is particularly evident in the 3rd-4th century AD. From the end of the 4th-beginning of the 5th century AD man's avtivity becomes less.
