We investigate the preparation of seedable hyperthermal beams of organic molecules specifically designed to synthesize thin films. Control on the kinetic energy combined to the high directionality of supersonic beams are key parameters that can be nicely exploited to produce high quality thin films in well characterized conditions. WE characterize oligothyophene.
