The aim of this work was to study a preservative-free immediate release powder formulation for nasal administration of desmopressin as an alternative to conventional liquid nasal formulations. In particular, a simple agglomeration technology was exploited leading to a free-flowing powder composed of large clusters (i.e., chimera agglomerates) of microparticles suitable for nasal release.
