Belluno, Sondrio e Verbano Cusio Ossola: problematiche comuni e ipotesi di soluzione per le tre province alpine interamente montane

This paper attempts firstly to ascertain whether the alleged homogeneity exists between the territories of the Alpine provinces of Belluno, Sondrio and Verbania that is also known by some as authoritative surveys on the level of quality of life, it is indeed confirmed, or not confirmed. Furthermore, means to verify whether, in addition to the factors that influence positively the socio-economic conditions of life experienced by local community residents, it can be identified others – less positive – for which is examined whether they are or not a feature common in the three provinces. Finally, if - as expected - you come across factors tend to affect the competitiveness of these portions of land, to produce its real situations of marginalization from the process of development, those are properly considered, trying to find valid solutions among successful reality in other mountain with similar issues.
