The book contains nine chapters, a preface and bibliographical references at the end of each chapter. The 7rst chapter introduces and explains the main aims and topics of the book. In particular, this monograph focuses mostly on fault tolerance in combinational systems (Chapters 2 and 3, Part I) and dynamic systems (Chapters 4-, Part II). The distinction between combinational and dynamic systems is that the latter evolve in time according to their internal state (memory), whereas the former have no internal state and no evolution with respect to time. Unlike the situation in combinational systems, fault tolerance in dynamic systems requires consideration about error propagation.

Abstract
The book contains nine chapters, a preface and bibliographical references at the end of each chapter. The 7rst chapter introduces and explains the main aims and topics of the book. In particular, this monograph focuses mostly on fault tolerance in combinational systems (Chapters 2 and 3, Part I) and dynamic systems (Chapters 4-, Part II). The distinction between combinational and dynamic systems is that the latter evolve in time according to their internal state (memory), whereas the former have no internal state and no evolution with respect to time. Unlike the situation in combinational systems, fault tolerance in dynamic systems requires consideration about error propagation.I documenti in SFERA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
