The effects of Supportve-Expressive Group Psychotherpay (SEGT) has been examined among 39 patients with an ICD-10 diagnosis of affective disorders. Signifcian differences were found between baseline (T0) and T1 (6 months) and T2 (1 year) after 20 sessions of SEGT with respect to teh following parameters: General distress, depression, anxiety, maladaptive coping (hopelessness, anxious preoccupation), cancer worries.
