Granular cell tumour (GCT) is a an uncommon benign lesion first described by Abrikossoff in 1926. The head and neck area is the most common region of GCT onset. Laryngeal location accounts for 3-10% in adults wherea it is extremely rare in children.The laryngeal symptoms depend on the size and the site of the lesion. A 32-year-old female presented to the ENT Clinic University of Ferrara.A posterior cordotomy with carbon dioxide laser was performed under general anaesthesia ant the final histopathologic report revelead a CGT with margins free. The patient feels well and has had no reccurence for 2 years.
