Abstract
This paper investigates the design of residual generators in order to realize complete diagnosis schemes in linear multivariable systems with additive faults and disturbances. The use of canonical input-output polynomial forms leads to characterise in a straightforward fashion the basis of the subspace described by all the possible residual generators. These tools show how the mathematical description of these filters can be obtained by following also a black-box identification approach. An example is finally reported.File in questo prodotto:
