Intra-site spatial analysis was performed using GIS methodologies on two Mesolithic high altitude pilot sites, respectively representative of two different typologies of base-camps - an open air site (Alpe Veglia - Lepontine Alps) and a rock-shelter (Mondeval de Sora, Belluno Dolomites).
